TDA4AL-Q1: VMON6_IR_VEXT0P8

Part Number: TDA4AL-Q1

Hello TI experts,

It's about the Pin L18 VMON6_IR_VEXT0P8 of TDA4AL, the threshold is only 0.8V while the supply of VDD_CORE or VDD_MCU is 0.8V too.

So how does the VMON6_IR_VEXT0P8 monitor VDD_CORE or VDD_MCU?

Thanks a lot.

  • Huan,

You can get a pretty good understanding of this through the TRM section 5.2.3.1. The voltage levels are set by CTRL_MMR_POK_VDD_CPU1_UV_CTRL  and CTRL_MMR_POK_VDD_CPU1_OV_CTRL. The 0P8 nomenclature on the pin is intended to tell you that the voltage range is 0.8V (rather  than 1.8V or 3.3V).
