SK-AM69: target configuration file for AM69-SK board ?

Hi Ki-soo-Lee,

I am trying to create a target configuration file for AM69-SK board.

But in CCS 12.4, in the device listing option, there is no "AM69".

Is it appropriate to choose "J784S4_TDA4VH" ? 

( I understand that for AM69 device, the platform is J784S4.

Is it appropriate to use TDA4VH cxml file for AM69-SK ? I think the answer is "No") 

Any other CCS version has support for AM69-SK board?

    Hi Shankari,

    As per the Jacinto team:

    "We’re working on this.  In the meantime customers can use the J721S2 and J784S4 part numbers.  It’s well documented that those part numbers are for the superset SoC."

    Ki-Soo-Lee,

    An empty target configuration is created and launched for AM69 SK board selecting the device as J784S4_TDA4VH.

    --

    When I say, an empty target configuration, no gel file is linked to any of the cores.

    I am just expecting the connection to the core without any errors.

    ---

    Is this, "DAP error"  is due to the mismatch of device ID ---> "TDA4VH" and "AM69" ?
