  • I have no idea what you are asking for.

Did you mean to post this in the Code Composer forum?

    Regards,

  • Hello RandyP

Giuseppe has a problem that he can't cut&paste the text. He can paste the text in the message window (taken from Internet Explorer), but when he posts the text, it disappear.

This message also is to check some problem from our company. Sorry.

  • There is a special button for some cut&paste operations, "Paste from Word". There is a statement just above the edit window that reads "If you need to paste information in from a Microsoft Office Product please use the 'Paste from Word' button."

A different browser may give you better results, or a different version of IE. For additional help on forum use, go to the E2E Suggestions & Feedback Forum under Learn E2E (big red ad on E2E Home page in upper-right).

For my case, I never paste anything directly into E2E unless it is pure text. Instead, I paste formatted text (from Word or PDF or a browser) into an ASCII editor like Notepad (I use PFE) and then copy&paste from there into E2E. This removes all formatting and works well for my purposes. It might not work for your purposes if you require the formatting.

Should we delete this thread since it unfortunately has no question?

    RandyP

  • Thanks a lot,  Randy.

Yes, we can delete this thread!

  • In anyway I had problems with my browser, as you said in your post.

    Thanks!!!

  • For our information, which browser and version do you use?

I have IE6, which is not supported on E2E (or anywhere, it seems), and I use FF 6.0, which is not officially supported, yet. My problems have been small.

But I am curious of yours. I read earlier today that we support FF up to 3.6. But I am not sure about all others.

    Regards,
    RandyP

  • I was using IE 9 (Version 9.0.8112.16421).

I resolved the problem using Google Chrome!

    Thanks!
