TI is getting low! On Friday, Aug. 26, we opened order entry for the new C553x ultra-low-power DSPs, the lowest price and lowest active power DSPs in the industry. Exactly how low did we go? It’s unprecedented! This generation of DSPs starts at only $1.95 (in quantities of 1,000 units). The C553x DSPs also offer the industry’s lowest total active core power at less than 0.15 mW/MHz at 1.05V and standby power at less than 0.15 mW.
The C553x ultra-low-power DSPs are ideal for audio and voice applications such as headsets, microphones, voice recorders, as well as other cost-sensitive applications that require sophisticated signal processing, including biometrics security devices, portable medical equipment, voice-activated home automation applications and more.
