AM625: How to support display rotate?

Hi, TI community,

We're working on am625, and we use DPI interface for display.

How can I rotate the display 90 degrees?

I tried some methods but failed, like "echo 1 > /sys/class/graphics/fb0/rotate", and xrandr -o left...etc.

Is there any way I can do this?

Hello Allen,

In general, our display IP does not support rotation. If you would like to achieve rotation, you have to either use Weston (Window Compositor) or your GUI application to rotate the screen. Weston has a transform property and more info available here: https://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/jammy/en/man5/weston.ini.5.html. GUI applications like Qt or Flutter has in built functions to rotate your "view".
