Hi j-breeze,
We don't have any measured power information for the hibernation modes. That effort was discontinued and was never completed. You can estimate the power by disabling the modules using the power consumption spreadsheet. I'm sorry we don't have better information to provide.

Hi j-breeze,
Hibernation mode works and does allow the part to operate at a lower power. We just never characterized the lower power numbers across all temperature, voltage and process nodes to get numbers that we could publish.

Hi Bill,

A specific case is enough for me. For example, it's at room temperature, and a typical voltage/process node.
Could you please give me the data as a reference? I don't think that I can use the spreadsheet for hibernation modes.

Hi j-breeze,
I'm sorry but I don't have any of the data that was collected. If you look at the spreadsheet and disable the modules that can be disabled, you will see that the baseline power consumption is by far the major contributor in hibernation mode. The remaining active power is only a few hundred mA. The baseline power should give you a rough estimate for the expected power during hibernation.

I can not believe that TI does not have any measured data for the modes even they work.
Anyway, I have one more question. Could you please let me get a sample code that enter to the modes it seems Aditya used?

I'm trying to see if I can locate the software in question. I don't think we ever included the code in the software release but there might be some example code. I'm part of the hardware support team so I'll have to involve the software support group.

I checked the our latest P-SDK RTOS on C6678, there is no hibernation example code. I raised a requirement in our issue tracking system and will let you know our plan.
