beagleboard-xm kernel 2.6.35 Kernel Configuration File

I used this configuration file omap3_beagle_android_defconfig is for Beagleboard.

But failed to compile the kernel.

Is there another configuration file i have to use for kernel 2.6.35

Hi,

We are not supporting beagleboard on 2.6.35 kernel.

You can use either 2.6.32 or 2.6.37 depending on your need.

The configuration file omap3_beagle_android_defconfig is correct.

For beagleboard-xm you need to use rowboat-kernel-2.6.37 branch for Android Gingerbread version.

For froyo the kernel branch is rowboat-eclair-2.6.32

Thanks for the reply i have two questions.

Can you post a link so i can download kernel 2.6.37(git or tar.gz)?

Can you a link to beagleboard gingerbread repository (git or tar.gz) ?

Can i run Froyo with kernel 2.6.37?

The reason I have a problem with Kernel 2.6.32 with FTDI_sio driver

USB_Serial crash and cause Kernel Panic.

You can download kernel 2.6.37 from our rowboat gitorious repository:

We not support Froyo running with 2.6.37 kernel. However you can always ask for help from the rowboat community forum
