HI,

I read in a older document that MSGQ is not fully integrated in DSP/BIOS.

I am able to configure MSGQ using DSP/BIOS configuration tool. is DSP/BIOS configuration tool support MSGQ?

Where can i get an example program and procedure to use MSGQ?

All available guide gives MSGQ between ARM and DSP.

can i get example which uses MSGQ in single processor?

MSGQ and DSP/BIOS are old versions.

MessageQ and SYS/BIOS are the current versions. You can find an example of MessageQ passing messages between cores in the IPC package that comes with the BIOS-MCSDK that you can download here:

A long time ago (~8 years) MSGQ was a stand-alone product which was moved into BIOS (5.0 or 5.1).

Which version of BIOS are you using? There is minimal support in the configuration tool (basically enable or disable). If you enable MSGQ, you must supply a static structure to initialize it. There are several single-core MSGQ examples within BIOS. The MSGQ module is described in the BIOS User Guide and API reference.

MessageQ is the next version of MSGQ. It is part of the Ipc product that works with SYS/BIOS (aka BIOS 6).

I am using BIOS 5.41

I am able to enable MSGQ I don't know how to proceed.

Where can i get help to configure and use NOTIFY, MPLIST, ... components?

You should read the MSGQ portion of the BIOS User Guide. It explains how to setup MSGQ and use it.

NOTIFY, MPLIST, etc. are part of the DSPLINK product.
