PROCESSOR-SDK-AM57X: Gstreamer command does not work well if update SDK version

May I have question about processor SDK linux for AM57x?

My customer is using old version SDK for use OpenCV.

And now, updateing SDK 05.03.00.07 to 06.03.00.106.

But there are issues about Gstreamer.

If operate same command in each version, ver 05.03 is works nomally, but ver 06.03 is not work well.

command : gst-launch-1.0 v4l2src

Question 1

Is there anything to difference of Gstreamer each SDK version?

Question 2

Is there difference use way of Gstreamer command option in each SDK version?

Hello GR,

Please be aware official support for OpenCV from TI on AM57 was de-scoped as of SDK 8.2 .

If you look at the release notes for these the Gstreamer versions are different ones.

Hi Josue,

Thanks for your information.

I understand that there are difference of GStreamer version.

Should we contact Gstreamer.org to find out how different versions of GStreamer work with different commands?

Or we could question on E2E?

First try the commands within the documentation, from previous trials, I've seen gstreamer work for video and sound using the commands in the link I sent.

Otherwise we can try to help, but ultimately gstreamer is open source SW with its own community.

My customer had test the gst-launch-1.0 v4l2src command.
But There was a difference in behavior, like picture refrese is sloly, have a different color, not show camera picture.

I will make my customer to ask GStreamer community.
