Hi Team,

I am facing issue in ethernet booting I have setup everything that mentioned in following link:(https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM62X/09_00_00_03/exports/docs/linux/Foundational_Components/U-Boot/UG-Network-K3.html).Not able to see any boot logs in console please help me regarding this attached following screenshots of wireshark and dhcp status.

Hi Vikash,

May I see your tftp server configuration file (/etc/xinetd.d/tftp)? I suspect something is wrong with your tftp server setup due to the errors under "systemctl status xinetd.service" and the fact that I don't see TFTP packets on your Wireshark capture.

Hi Daolin,

Here is my tftp server configuration file (/etc/xinetd.d/tftp):

service tftp
{
protocol = udp
port = 69
socket_type = dgram
wait = yes
user = nobody
server = /usr/sbin/in.tftpd
server_args = /tftpboot
disable = no
}

Hi Vikash,

Looks like according to this inquiry of yours https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1324308/sk-am62b-p1-issue-with-ethernet-booting---need-assistance, you seem to have fixed the issue here with sending tiboot3.bin via tftp.

I just wanted to double check if that is the case and if so, how you fixed the issue here?

Hi Daolin,

After installing the tftpd package and restarting the xinetd service on my host PC, file transfers are successful only when connected to a single interface. To ensure successful transfers, no other external networks should be connected to the host PC during the transfer, and a static IP must be set.

I saw this as well:

isc-dhcp-server dhcpd.conf needed:

host SK_AM623 {
hardware ethernet 1c:63:49:22:50:97;
fixed-address 172.26.1.127;

}

Did you need to add that section to dhcpd.conf in order for tiboot3.bin to be transferred? From what I have seen, I did not need to add that section for the tftp and dhcp server to work and to transfer tiboot3.bin.
