SK-AM68: Cannot see flash device in Linux

Hello,

I'm using the latest linux wic image from the linux sdk downloads page and following along with the documentation which discusses using OSPI with flash: 3.2.2.16. OSPI/QSPI — Processor SDK Linux for J721s2 Documentation

When I run cat /proc/mtd all I get is:

dev: size erasesize name

From what I've read, I should be seeing the partitions listed in the device tree files.

Also, I am booting from the sdcard.

Could someone help me understand what I might be missing? Thanks!

    May I know which SDK is being used here?

    arch/arm64/boot/dts/ti/k3-am68-sk-som.dtsi

    We have the MTD partitions. I believe you are using the AM68-SK board? Can you confirm that?

  • I'm using v09.01.00.06 of the linux sdk. Yes, I am using the SK-AM68 evm.

    Thanks for the advice. I re-flashed with Balena Etcher and I get the same result. Logs are below. Just to be clear, I am using the wic image from this link: https://dr-download.ti.com/software-development/software-development-kit-sdk/MD-O34VjGn5mM/09.01.00.06/tisdk-edgeai-image-j721s2-evm.wic.xz

    with the following MD5 hash: 41296714ff0ce85c6e4b362f24146e5e

    I've verified that the wic image I used has the same hash.
