Hello TI,

We are working on the TDA4VM J721E, utilizing the PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-J721E package designed for DRA829 & TDA4VM JacintoTm Processors. The objective is to execute Linux on A72 and RTOS on R5F.

Is it possible to integrate and stream one camera(CSI-2 Rx) on A72 and another camera(CSI-2 Rx) on the main R5F?

Where can I obtain the source code for SafeRTOS/FreeRTOS and Linux?

Is it feasible to integrate a camera with SafeRTOS/FreeRTOS?

Can we use an external eMMC for boot flashing?

Hi,

There are multiple questions on this thread, so i would suggest starting new threads for each of these questions.

I can answer few of them.

Yes, FreeRTOS/SafeRTOS on R5F and Linux on A core is supported in the SDK. Please download PSDKLA and PSDKRA from the ti.com. For the SafeRTOS, you would have to get it from Wittenstein.

It is as such possible that one CSI port is controlled by A72 and the other by R5F. But our recommendation is control them only by one core for easy integration.
