I have a trouble with the McASP port of the am1705.
The bit 'XRDY' doesn't come back to '1' after single writing to the XBFF.
The XSTAT holds the 0x0171 ('XUNDRN' error) immediately after initialization of the McASP port. The am1705 is slave but provides a master clock to the codec. AXR0 is a receiver, AXR1 is transmitter. I can see some activity at the XSLOT & XSTAT registers. Initialization is (i followed by SPRUFV6):
