I am working on Jacinto board “TI Jacinto EVM TDA4VM [ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-08_06_01_03]”.

Now I would like to detach the free OS from TDA4VM and want to integrate the 3rd party RTOS from some other vendor.

Since I am new to the system, not very clear with free OS detachment. Could you please share the procedure for this scenario ?

We have OSAL (OS Abstraction layer) Guide in PDK, Please refer to the OSAL Guide along with FreeRTOS Guide for understanding of OS component in TI SDK.
Also, Refer to API Guide of OSAL as well.

Hi Sudheer,

Thanks for the inputs, went through the documents. Still couldn't come to conclusion on detaching the freeos. Could you please guide me further ?

Hi,

OSAL Layer will give you idea about how OS is integration is done, We have FreeRTOS and SafeRTOS support in PDK.
Above will guide how to integrate other RTOS to TDA4 SDK.
