DM816x Video Dac Test pattern code (or procedure.)

I want to load a memory frame buffer pattern for purposes of measuring the outputs on the DM816x SD Video DACs.

Something like the SMPTE test pattern below uncompressed.

I'm wondering if there is a recommended way to accomplish this with a minimum of effort

or if TI has similar test pattern tests that are available to share?
