TDA4AL-Q1: Does CSI-TX only supported on DSI1 interface in TDA4AL

As title description, this thread just a double check

I check datasheet, get some information as below. (Table 5-1. Device Comparison )

Part number variants with DSI 4L TX as "1" can only use the DSI0 interface for DSI functionality. DSI1* balls can still be used for CSI1
functionality.

Device is "TDA4AL88TGAALZRQ1", Does CSI-TX only supported on DSI1 pin interface in TDA4AL?

In all Models, CSI Tx and DSI Tx uses same Pins.
You can't use CSITx0 & DSITx0 at the same time.

In case of "TDA4AL88TGAALZRQ1" DSI1 is not present so, you can use these pins for CSI1Tx.

What makes the DSI1 not available while CSI1 TX is available?

Both CSI and DSI belong to protocol level. And they could share the same D-PHY ports.

No, they cannot share the same PHY at the same time. The PHY is common and that's the reason they both cannot be active at the same time. If only one of them is active, its ok. But both cannot be enabled simultaneously.

The SOC you are referring is sub-variant of TDA4AL, where few modules are removed based on custom requests and use-cases.

IP is different for DSI and CSI, in subvariant only one instance of DSI supported.
