TMS320C6670 Hibernation Mode

Hi,

I'm using TMS320C6670 and I'm confused when I saw the Hibernation Mode in the document of C6670. I wanna know what is the exact meaning of Hibernation Mode

and the power consumption of  this mode and the standby mode. And what's difference between these two modes?

  • Hi Nick,

    There are two hibernation modes: Hibernation 1 and Hibernation 2.
    During hibernation mode 1, only the MSMC SRAM memory content is retained. The
    MSMC MMR is not retained.
    During hibernation mode 2, the MSMC SRAM memory contents are lost and only
    information stored in the DDR3 SDRAM is retained. The MSMC MMR is not retained.
