AM6526: difference between am6526 and am6422

Part Number: AM6526


Both have dual A53 and Dual-core Cortex-RfF. The price difference is ~$40. Is this due to the display subsystem?

    Hi Jamil,

    There are a number of architectural differences such as 2x PCIes +1x USB 3.1 and 3x ICSSGs on the AM6526 vs the AM64x that result in a higher price.  (please note that the AM6526 device option does not have on-chip graphics accelerator support)

    From a software support perspective, our primary focus has been on the supporting the AM62x, AM62A, and AM64x processor families.
