LP-MSPM0C1104: ccs debug error

Part Number: LP-MSPM0C1104

Hi team,

My customer is evaluating the launchpad right now and tried to debug using the out of box SDK.

When they conducted led.c file, The LED flashes once, then an error occurs and stops.

The error is shown as following.

Error connecting to the target:

(Error -614 @ 0x0)

The target indicates there is an error condition from a previous SWD

request. Clear the error the condition, and try the SWD request again.

(Emulation package 9.13.0.00201)

Do you have any suggestion on how to fix this issue ?

I have asked to do factory reset but when step 5 the following error is showing.

Error connecting to the target:

DAP Connection Error. This could be caused by the device having gone to low power mode.

Try forcing an external reset. If the error persists, try forcing BSL, a Mass erase or a Factory Reset. Check device FAQs for more information.

Factory reset (2).pdf

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Kenley

Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this ?

    Best regards,

    Kenley

  • Hi Henley,

DAP Connection Error. This could be caused by the device having gone to low power mode.

This means PC cannot recognize the M0 DAP which is used for debug and further for factory reset.

What CCS version is customer using right now? I suggest customer use the latest CCS version, it is supposed to be CCS 12.6.

My customer tried to debug the "out of box" SDK main.c but the following error is showing.

Let me check the out of box demo for C series and then give you some feedback.

  • Hi Sal,

    Thank you for your support.

The DAP connection error has been fixed.

Currently, they are trying to debug using the out of box SDK.

Please let me know when you have checked it.

    Best regards,

    Kenley

  • Hi Kenley,

    It works well with CCS12.6.

Is customer change the project, or is using default example project?

    B.R.

    Sal

  • Hi Sal,

    Customer is using CCS 12.5.0.

Customer just using the default example project.

    Best regards,

    Kenley
