AM6442: TI RPMsg Char git package - instructions on gcc-arm cross compilers and the GNU tools

Part Number: AM6442

On TI RPMsg Char Package   using Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

under build

 1) ARM has changed the way they bundled cross-compiler tools; see https://learn.arm.com/install-guides/gcc/cross/   21Dec2023 (cannot get at "gcc-arm-9.2-2019.12*" explicitly)

Is it safe to use the installs as ARM prescribes for Ubuntu packages being installed, i.e.

"

Installing on Debian based distributions such as Ubuntu

Use the apt command to install software packages on any Debian based Linux distribution.

sudo apt update
sudo apt install gcc-arm-none-eabi -y
sudo apt install gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf -y
sudo apt install gcc-aarch64-linux-gnu -y

"

2) On the GNU tools, one may need to install m4 before one installs autoconf.

     I am slated to use

      autoconf 2.7102

      automake 1.16.5-1.3

      libtool 2,4,6-15 build 2

IS there some risk in using this combination?
