TDA4VM: mounting QNX ifs as read-write

I am using the TDA4VM board with vision apps with ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-09_01_00_06 and QNX to SD card -

How can I adjust the build system such that I can mount the QNX IFS such that directories such as /etc or /var can be writeable?
