Hi Team TI,

I am trying flashing from OSPI via QNX for J721S2_EVM and

And For build process following below mentioned document which is specified in pdk_j721s2_09_01_00_22:-

ERROR DESCRIPTION:-

In the PDK Source "make_multicore_appimages.sh j721s2_evm" script file is missing, in the path of "<PDK>/packages/ti/boot/sbl/example/boot_app/scripts"

How to generate it.

Hi Chaithra,

Can you tell us the motivation for flashing OSPI via QNX? Is this a customer project? Can you give us more details on the same?

We are not sure why you are referring PDK getting started guide for QNX, can you clarify?

Hi Praveen,

We are developing the Sensor Fusion ADAS Framework for Automotive customer on J721s2_EVM with SDK 09.01.00.06.

We have Followed below links to build and run on the target using SD-Card(RTOS+QNX).

Due to customer requirement is with specific QNX via OSPI. Through the Uniflash tool able to flash the Images by following below links with prebuilt Images:-

Its fashing fine with prebuilt images but, for the custom image creation the particular script file "make_multicore_appimages.sh" is missing in the specified path : "<PDK>/packages/ti/boot/sbl/example/boot_app/scripts" from the below link:- (Section :- Booting QNX via OSPI)

Hi Chaithra,

Thanks for the details.

Understood that the requirement is to flash OSPI and boot from OSPI. We don't think you have to refer to PDK documentation for this.

So what is required, we can continue to use the Vision Apps scripts to flash binaries to OSPI needed for booting.

After running below:

cd sdk_builder

make qnx_fs_create

make sbl_bootimage

we can run:

make sbl_bootimage_install_ospi

This will flash the binaries to OSPI. We suggest looking at the <PSDK_RTOS_PATH>/sdk_builder/makerules/makefile_sbl.mak to understand how this is done.
