CCSTUDIO: How to check assembly code

Hi TI_Team

We use CCSTUDIO v12.3.0.00005.

I would like to check the assembly code because some parts are not working correctly due to efficiency improvements.

Please let me know how to output the assembly code file.
If cannot output the file, please tell me how to check the assembly code, even on the debugger.

Hi,

For a program loaded on a core, you can check the corresponding Assembly code on the Disassembly window (go to View > Disassembly)

Once your core is suspended, you can apply breakpoints, step into/over and debug similar to how it is done for source code.

Can I output assembly code (ex. .asm,lst) like .hex files?

Hi,

There is no provision to convert the assembly code to hex file directly from CCS as of now.

If you have a specific requirement regarding this, please create a new thread with all the information. This will help guide your query to the right expert.
