OS I use : Ubuntu 22.04.4

Context :

Hello,

I'm currently searching to activate and try all 8 externals ports of the CPSW_9g switch.

For that purpose I use two externals QPEnet extension boards, connected to the card.

I tried in first place the default Ethfw application with only one QPEnet on the first emplacement, which work well. But when I tried to extend my experiment to the seconde Eth. expan. connector, by modifying the firmware the QPEnet doesn't respond at all.

This lead me to wonder :Is it possible to connect two QPEnet simultaniously ?

Ether way is there a procedure to follow to activate the Eth. expan. connector 2 other than including the port in the mcu application ?

In addition I wish to add the other R5F mcu to the network (and C7x if possible), connected at the same time; is it possible ? and if yes, is there a documentation to follow ?

On the J784S4XEVM EVM, we cannot simultaneously use 2 external QPEnet extension boards due to the board design imitation. Instead, only one external QPEnet extension board can be connected.

No, it is not possible.

By default, the Main R5F0_0 core runs the EthFW switch software, and the Main R5F0_1 core runs the EthFW client software.

Support for adding C7x is not provided.

I understand that it's not possible to have two QPEnet board connected at the same time, but is there a way to only activate the expention board on connector ENET-EXP-2?

The documentation you provided seems to replace the R5F0_1 client by the R5F1_0 client. Is it possible to active this R5F1_0 client without disable the R5F0_1 client ?

Yes, the same information applies to different R5F instances, need to make instance-specific updates.
