SK-TDA4VM: UD90UB953 probe failed

您好,我们使用sk-TDA4VM、ds90ub965、ds90ub953和imx390来拍照,SDK8.6,之前一切正常,某次更改了SDK版本之后发现ds90ub953识别不了;又更换为sdk8.6版本后出现以下错误:

  • 新的问题出现了,我们重烧了镜像并把ds90un953的I2C地址改为0x18,media-ctl -p时出现了其他eneity的结点,但是依旧没有ds90ub953和imx390.我们又将其改回了0x44.

    这时我们发现log 打印中完全没有ds90ub953及imx390的信息,就像完全没有连接一样。

    我们想知道:

    1、如何判断是硬件问题还是软件问题?

    2、若是硬件问题是否可以返厂维修?

  • we already have tried these steps before. when we Flash tisdk-edgeai-image-j721e-evm.wic.xz SDK v9.1,the kernel can't be bringed up.

    The problem is that everything worked fine when we were using SDK8.6 before, and now we can't tell if it's a hardware issue or a software issue.

    We never get a successful boot when we use SDK9.1.

  • The I2C address of ds90ub954 is 0X30 instead of 0X3d in the default device tree 'k3-j721e-sk-fusion.dtbo'.

    so we modify only this place and recompile the device tree.

    Could you remove the additional overlays from line 20 so that it reads as such:

    name_overlays_fit=ti/k3-j721s2-edgeai-apps.dtbo

    This line should not be altered when adding overlays. Variable name_overlays (line 17) is the only line that should include your added overlays.

    We feel that the device tree of the serializer or sensor seems to conflict with the system device tree, or it is a problem with decompiling the device tree.

  • If we don't make any changes to the device tree of us90ub954, we can't probe the deserializer; if we make changes to the device tree of the deserializer and only set name_overlays_fit=k3-j721s2-edgeai-apps.dtbo k3-j721e-sk-fusion.dtbo,the deserializer will be mounted successfully.

    But if we set name_overlays_fit=k3-j721s2-edgeai-apps.dtbo k3-j721e-sk-fusion.dtbo k3-fpdlink-imx390-rcm-0-0.dtbo(the device tree of the deserializer has been modified which the i2c address from 0x3d to 0x30),the above error will occur.

    We only change the I2C address in the delineator device tree,and we feel that this change is necessary and non-impactful。

    Any possible suggestions for us?
