Hi

Can the audio comms between the TPS65950 and AM3715 make use of I2S instead of PCM?

 

Cos in the PMIC there is 2 PCM port. they need 1 for BT and 1 for 3G module.

 

So I suggested to use the I2S for the communication between the PMIC and AM3715.

 

Deng guang yang says that according to their experience is that I2S is mainly use for playback and if want to do recording, they need to use PCM.

 

Therefore, the question is can the I2S communication between the TPS65950 and AM3715 use I2S for both playback and recording?
