We are planning to use DM355 or 365 for a project on camera trap. since the application is battery operated(2 months life) we cannot keep the DM355 powered all the time as the leakage power is high. DM355 must be ready to take the picture within 0.5s from the moment it's power is turned on.
Linux takes more than 2 seconds to boot. Can we use SYS/BIOS for this purpose? We are finding it difficult to identify whether there is support to run VPFE and JPEG encoding on top of SYS/BIOS. Is there a support library or do we have to write the code?.
Since we have not worked with DaVinci before, it would be very helpful if someone can throw some light on this issue.
