How to know release date?

Hi,

I would like to ask a question on device release date.

For a particular product, say DM6437, how to know when (year, month) it was first officially released? Documents usually have many revisions and trying to find rev.A or first version's date might be a way, but is there a quicker method?

If making this question more general: for each device TI make (ARM, MPU, OMAP, DaVinci, etc.), how to quickly find the release date?

Zheng,

The closest one to find out is Data Sheet. Other than that, you have to post it on its forum and we have to check with QRE or CQE to pull it out from database.
