Hi Paresh,
Is the board that you currently have a custom board or a TI EVM? also could you please specify which TI device it is and also the JTAG emulator that you are using
Best,
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
The board I am using is a custom made PCB and not an EVM, TI chip is TMS320C5515 and I am using XDS100V2 JTAG emulator to debug my firmware on that board. But the debugger doesn't seem to connect to CCS.

Paresh
Hi Ming,
I am using TMS320C5515 chip onto my custom PCB and need to debug the firmware using JTAG emulator XDS100V2. Also, I haven't tried using the on board JTAG for the C5515 EVM, can I debug firmware by doing it on EVM of C5515, how to use the on board JTAG. Need help in that.
Regards,
Paresh
Hi Paresh,
If you have a TI C5515 EVM (April 22, 1997 (mouser.com)), then you can use the on board JTAG to debug your firmware. I am not sure about the CCS XDS100v2 JTAG support. You can check with the CCS team for that.
Best regards,
Ming
Hi Ming,
Will surely see for the 5515EVM board. Can you tell me about XDS100V3 debugger support for the chip is possible or not? Also, is CCS able to configure the XDS100V3 debugger, unlike errors showing in XDS100V2 board.
Regards,
Paresh
Hello,
i have 10 pins JTAG connector
What kind of header is this? The only 10-pin JTAG header I am aware is the ARM 10-pin one
Also note that you are using a very old version of CCS. It looks like CCSv4. I would recommend using a later version. Current versions of CCS supports XDS100v2 and C5515.
Thanks
