AM625: EMMC cofiguration for the custom board

Hi TI Masterminds,

We are using different EMMC in our custom board then what are the changes we need to make to bring up the custom board?

EMMC used in the EVK is MTFC16GAPALBH-IT.

EMMC used in the Custom Board is SDINBDA6-16G-I.

Can you please help us to make proper changes?

Hi Abhishek,

Ideally you should not require any changes in the SDK. May I know what SDK you are using and if you have tried bringing up the board but faced issues?

Thanks for your reply.

Currently, My custom board is not ready yet. But As per our hardware team, we are going to use a different EMMC than EVK so I just wanted to know if there are any changes required at the bootloader or Kernel side.

Hi Abhishek,

The eMMC protocol is from JEDEC and followed by all vendors. So, you should not require any changes in the SDK for your custom eMMC.
