How to configure HDMI input port for OpenMax encoder component using DM8168 expansion IO Daughter board

Hi,

I am a beginner of EVM DM8168.

I am going to HDMI video input using one of the component input port( and the video source is 1920x1080p)

to test the video input port of the expansion IO Daughter card for DM8168.

I don't know how to configure hdmi input port.

I want to video capture of HDMI video input port using the expansion IO Daughter board for EVM DM8168 board.

My Ezsdk version is 5_02_01_59, but I don't clear which part should I refer to.

I test the omtb example in ezsdk, also I got some information from others about the OMX.

Please help me..

Only Component capture via TVP 7002 is supported on the Expansion I/O board with 8168 in the EZSDK releases.

Hi guys,

Is there any advance on this topic? I need to capture from the HDMI input as well, but according with the OMX documentation there are just two options for eHwPortId:

OMX_VIDEO_CaptureHWPortVIP1_PORTA (J5, J6, J7 in daughter board)
OMX_VIDEO_CaptureHWPortVIP2_PORTA (J2, J3, J4 in daughter board)

I'm using a DM8168 EVM with the ezsdk 5.02.02.60,

I Also would Like to capture from the HDMI and have the same EZSDK what are the time scales to have this working (it's great to have quick time to market but there is stuff all to market functionality wise ) . I find this whole development sytem very frustrating at times .
