AM62A7: If AM62A can Process 2 different video data

The pic bellow is our project framework，the Deserilizer will take two cam's data in and make them 2 channel id respectively，

So we want to ask if AM62A can correctly distinguish 2 id's data from Deserilizer and handle separately？

Notice：2 cam's data have different resolutions and frame rates.

Hello Le,

Yes. AM62A supports this use case. Simultaneously streaming OV2312 and IMX390 has been validated on Processor SDK Linux 9.2 for AM62A: https://www.ti.com/tool/PROCESSOR-SDK-AM62A.

Please also check this application report about running multiple cameras application on AM6x.

Thanks！and we already know the CSI-2 controller in AM62 has 4 lanes, can we change the 1*4 lane mode to 2*2 lane and how to make it?

No, running 4 lanes as 2x2-lane is not supported

Thanks, I noticed that the guide of AM62A manual mentions that CSI-2 V1.2 supports a maximum mode of 1.5Gbps/lane * 4lane= 6Gbps. However, in the MAXIM manual of 96712, CSI v1.2 can support up to 2.5Gbps/lane * 4lane = 10Gbps. Can the AM62A support a 10Gbps MIPI data rate?

The CSI-2 Rx interface on AM62A is capable of supporting up to 2.5Gbps/lane, but only 1.5Gbps/lane has been tested and characterized.
