Hello,

How can I pre-build an app before initiating the Android build process?

Additionally, could you guide the steps involved in pre-building an app and integrating it into the Android system image?

Is there any need to do changes in android.bp

Hi,

you can check in vendor/ti/apps folder we have a prebuilt apps to and so you check what is done and do you android.bp for your apps.

"I followed the instructions provided in https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/main/docs/android_build_instructions.md#installing-and-running-chromium-on-a-device to build and install Chromium on EVM with the default Android image of version 08.06. The Chromium app is visible on the device, but it is not working. Could you help me understand how to make the Chromium app work?"

Hi Sonia,

Could you provide more details on what you mean by app not working?
You should contact Chromium support group or forum for this.
