SK-AM62A-LP: Emmc Flash in Uboot

I tried to flash emmc on our custom board following the steps in this post:

After all the steps complated,it boot failed. Is there any thing wrong?

    What software was flashed to eMMC? The log doesn't look like it is U-Boot.

  • I flashed emmc via uart with cfg file--default_sbl_emmc_linux_hs_fs.cfg

    After reboot from emmc,I want to flash the rest images via eth to boot into linux.
    What I want to do is flashing via uart first.After that flashing emmc rootfs via Eth.Besides I want to boot through sbl 

    I want to know whether the flash process is right?

    If not , please tell me the right flash process.

    This is on our custom board.HW design is different from EVM.

    Our custom board make byte swap in data line:

    Our board:

    EVM Board

    Besides,our core voltage is 0.85v different from 0.75v on EVM.

    Changes in board_ddrReginit.h have been made according to HW design using ddr config tool.

    5165.board_ddrReginit.h

    Other configure modifications also have been made in dtsi file.

    I also tried to lower ddr frequency but made no difference.

    Please help us to make double check of the config parameters.

    Does your board have 4GB DDR? If not, you need to update the U-Boot device tree for the correct DDR size.

    It is same as the one on EVM,except operating temperature.

  • Can you please try to add "mem=512M" to the U-Boot bootargs env and then boot Linux to see if the crash still happens?

  • I find some wrong parameter in DDR config.

    This parameter should be 16 according to hw design.Am I right?

  • We just work around it by disconnecting the I2c with PMIC.

    Because we just want to bring up the custom as soon as possible,besides we do not have user guide about the pmic.
