What changes did you do perform on the driver? Also, do the dots appear after running kmstest as well?

When using kmssink, the video quality appears dull, whereas with autovideosink, it is good but experiences a delay of around 3-4 seconds.

Do we need to consider color correction for the kmssink driver?

or is there any chamce to increase brightness in driver?

Does your panel not have brightness control? We have CSC block in TIDSS but you would need to add support for it in the driver.

1.There is control of colorspace conversion and is there any driver for that to increase brightness?

Note. I am using 18bit for panel but im not sure about tidss which bit they are setting

The color space conversion block would be used for brightness control and we don't have any example for that in the driver. You would need to program the matrix listed here: Figure 12-506. DISPC VID Brightness/Contrast/Saturation/Hue Equation for YUV to RGB

2.How to know which CSC block to adjust the brightness and contrast in driver(HUE,m,k)?
  

1. Yes, you can use devmen for debug purposes.

2. Each element in that matrix needs to be pre-calculated and programed into the A0,B0 and etc. For example, A0 value would be the first element and that corresponds to m*A0.

Can you specifically mention which section of tidss_dispc.c driver code is responsible for CSC. And what as well as how changes can be done on those variables to affect the brightness of the display.

At the momemt, our driver does not support CSC and I don't have any reference code/document to share with you.
