SK-AM62A-LP: End of Life Status and Support Timeline

Part Number: SK-AM62A-LP

Hello E2E Community,

I am currently planning to develop a project using the SK-AM62A-LP development board, which I found listed on Mouser Electronics with a note indicating it is "Scheduled for obsolescence and will be discontinued by the manufacturer." Before committing to this platform, I need to understand more about what this means for the future of the board and the support available.

Could you please provide more details on:

  1. The specific timeline for when the SK-AM62A-LP will be discontinued?
  2. What does "End of Life" entail for support and availability of components?
  3. Are there recommended alternatives to the SK-AM62A-LP that Texas Instruments supports which might be suitable for similar applications?

Any guidance on how to navigate this transition would be greatly appreciated as I plan for long-term development and support for my project.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Lia Gomez

  • Hi Lia,

The SK-AM62A-LP EVM is not being discontinued.  There currently is no plan to end of life this EVM.  This note is an error on Mouser's website that we're working to get corrected.  Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Regards,

    Melissa
