Hello,

I was trying to update the syscfg file to work on IPC (SDK 8.5.0). I am not able to change the R5FSS0 Core 1 as self, it always stays at Core 0 !

I also tried changing by opening the syscfg tool itself, it initially gets updated to core 1 but when I moved syscfg file it to the project, it moved back to core 0.

Please advice.

another info: I am using syscfg 1.14

Thanks for reaching out to Texas Instruments E2E support forum.

Can you please tell for which core the project is build for? Is it R5FSS0-0 or R5FSS0-1?

I have imported the ipc_rpmsg_echo_linux example for R5FSS0-1 core and able to see the self core as R5FSS0-1.

Self represents the CPU on which the application is running. Please refer image below.

I am planning to create 4 projects of R cores for our custom build SOC. In the example under SDK 8.5.0 (IPC_Notfy), I could see 'self' for that specific core, no problem at all. However, when I tried to change that while creating separate syscfg under separate project (for example project for: 'R5FSS0 Core 1'), I am not able to change it, its always stay 'self' of 'R5FSS0 Core 0' !
