How to install TSC2046EVM software

My PC failed to enumerate the USB PC driver for TSC2046EVM-PDK after I attached the USB cable. The USB ACTIVE LED(D2) is not lit up. I followed the user guide to install the software from CD-ROM and then installed the NI-VISA 3.1. The hardware wizard always shows the unknown device after I attached the USB cable. I am using default setting for all the jumpers. My PC is Windows XP SP2 system.  I've checked that the hardware wizard has detected the USB device with VID_FFFF as vendor ID, and that is probably why the system failed to find a device driver.

Anyone can help me to install the USB driver?

Thanks,

Eric

  • Eric,

To make sure the D2 is ON, please check --

    (1) The TSC2046EVM board is on the up/middle position of the USB-MODEVM board, connecting with J11, J12 and J13 of the USB-MODEVM.

    (2) The SW2 on the USB-MODEVM board is switched in such a way that at least one of SW2-1, SW2-2, and SW2-3 (i.e. A0, A1, and A2)  is OFF.

After double checked the above, tell me what you got now!

    Regards,
    Wendy F.
