eZdsp5535 I2S interrupt with aic3204

Hi everyone

I am trying to make an I2S RX interrupt work - with no success as you can imagine. The interrupt should "fire" everytime a new sample is available.

The example code from the CSL lib works so far (in loopback mode).

The aic3204 has been initialized before and already works when data is polled.

My sourcecode is attatched, I would be glad if anyone could help me.

You call IRQ_disableAll() after calling I2S_open(), so there is no I2S interrupt at all!

Thank you for your reply.

However, this seems not to be the only problem. I found out that when configuring the DSP as I2S_MASTER instead of slave the rx interrupt works - but, the i2s hardare registers do always contain the value -1.

Do I have to change any configuration of the aic3204 to make it work in interrupt mode?

After two days I finally got it working.

The DSP has 4 I2S interfaces and one should use the right one (the kit uses I2S2). So you need "I2S_INSTANCE2" and the right interrupt vector "RCV2_EVENT".

That's it :-)

Could you share what you have done exactly, if it possible, show the code part to config I2S2 and the interrupt vector. I am trying to do the same thing for 2 days without success.
