Hi Expert,

We are working on custom board based on EVM.

1. We have selected UART boot mode on our board, but we are unable to flash the binaries into OSPI flash through uniflash CLI.

2. When i run the command to flash the flash writer, it completes the flash writer into internal RAM. But after the flash writer when i run the command to flash the SBL it stuck after transfer the header of the SBL.

3. The part no of the OSPI flash (S28HS512TGABHM010) is same as EVM.

when i run the run the example of ospi_flash_app_test from SDK through JATG for validate the flash it passes all the tests.

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Satyajeet,

That's strange, I would expect uniflash to work if the OSPI flash test is passing.

Did you make any change in the driver or ospi flash test or does that work straight out of box?

I did not make any changes in the ospi flash test or any driver. I have just build and use.

Hi Satyajeet,

Apologies for delay in response. Can you please build the uniflash from the PDK package and check if that works for you?
If that does not work as well, please connect a debugger and check what exact operation is failing for you in uniflash. This would help us narrow down the issue
