AM625: MESA-LOADER: failed to open tidss: /usr/lib/dri/tidss_dri.so

I am working with AM625 on beagleplay from beaglebone.

When I tried to test the HDMI LCD with cmd kmscube. It shows that there is no /usr/lib/dri/tidss_dri.so

I tried to fix it and find a relative problem with AM65 in AM6548: KMSCube averaging 5 FPS - Processors forum - Processors - TI E2E support forums

But it seems that the GPU kernel module and library is too old for AM62?

What should I do if I want to get tidss_dri.so in my rootfs?

I use the latest firmware of beagleplay from beaglebone distro in BeaglePlay 11.8 2023-10-07 10GB eMMC Xfce Flasher - BeagleBoard

Okay, let me check with beagle folks and get back to you. It looks like some GPU libs are not present but will confirm with them.

Try using one of the latest nightlies from https://rcn-ee.net/rootfs/debian-arm64-11-bullseye-xfce-v5.10-ti/

"vulkaninfo " for example should work.

For future reference please note that BeagleBoard products are supported by the BeagleBoard.org foundation and their Forums/Discord are the place to get help for their specific SW implementation.

Thank you for your reply. I will have a try with the latest firmware of beagleplay, and post this problem to forums of beaglebone if it's needed.
