Meaning of future description of MMC in the DM3730 data manual

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DM3730

Our customer has MMC1 ntermoittent read error on their board
and investigating the problem.
They are using VDD1 at OPP1G.
Please answer following our questions.

DM3730 Data Manual(SPRS685D) pae 2 describes as follows.

  1.8-V I/O and 3.0-V (MMC1 only),
0.9-V to 1.2-V Adaptive Processor Core Voltage
0.9-V to 1.1-V Adaptive Core Logic Voltage
Note: These are default Operating Performance
be optimized to lower values using
SmartReflex AVS.Point (OPP) voltages and could

I think MMC could use with OPP1G operationg point, but above "0.9-V to 1.2-V Processor Core Voltage"
is OPP50 and OPP100(not OPP1G).

Please confirm my understanding that MMC can oprerate with OPP1G.
Also, please explain the meaning of above description pf page 2.

Regards.

  • I can't understand following description of DM3730 Data Manual(SPRS685D) page 2.

    -1.8-V I/O and 3.0-V (MMC1 only),
0.9-V to 1.2-V Adaptive Processor Core Voltage
0.9-V to 1.1-V Adaptive Core Logic Voltage
     Note: These are default Operating
Performance Point (OPP) voltages and could
be optimized to lower values using
     SmartReflex AVS.

Please someone answer which is correct understandings, following 1) or 2).

1)This sentence said only MMC can operate 1.8V or 3.0V I/O voltage.
And " 0.9-V to 1.2-V Adaptive Processor Core Voltage ......... SmartReflex AVS."
is not a explanation about MMC1.(Some mistake of document)
2)This sentence said MMC can operate 1.8V or 3.0V I/O voltage.
And MMC operation is guaranteed with following voltage range and Operating Point.
         0.9-V to 1.2-V Adaptive Processor Core Voltage(VDD1 OPP50 and OPP100 from SPRS685D Table 4-18 and 4-19)
         0.9-V to 1.1-V Adaptive Core Logic Voltage(VDD2 OPP50 and OPP100)
So MMC1 operation is  not guaranteed with OPP130 and OPP1G.

     Regards.
