Hello,

We are working on ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j784s4-evm-09_02_00_05 and trying to bring up MCU2_1, MCU3_0, MCU3_1, MCU_4_0, MCU4_1 cores. We have been able to build some test applications from processor SDK and wish to load the core specific firmware (example: GPIO_LedBlink_TestApp_freertos_mcu2_1_release.xer5f) on respective core.

We are currently running PSDK Linux on our A72 core and would like to explore/know the procedure to load the firmware via u-boot. Please help on this topic. Also we would like to know if there is a possibility of loading the firmware via tiboot3. If yes, then some documentation link would be really helpful for the same.

Hello,

You can create Soft link to the executable in SD card for the respective core required, then while booting up in uboot stage you can halt it and load the remoteproc.

For example on mcu2_1:

ln -sf /lib/firmware/ti-ipc/j721e/ipc_echo_test_mcu2_1_release_strip.xer5f j7-main-r5f0_1-fw
