c6748 Ethernet stack without MDIO

Hello,

 

We have a custom board with C6748 DSP connected directly to the host CPU without MDIO wiring. We are trying to test the board with client application of NDK 2.0. How should we initialize the Ethernet stack?

How could we by-pass the MDIO module of NDK?

Do we need to rebuild the Ethernet drivers of csl of NDK or can we just configure the client initialization functions with a special configuration that we ignore?

    I have moved this query to the C674x forum as this question does seems to be independent of BIOS or even NDK.

    It appears that you are trying to test your custom hardware setup and perhaps need a raw Ethernet packet generator or some other test setup to run on your hardware.  Hopefully, by moving this to a different forum you'll receive a quicker answer.
