Hi
You can use a GPT partitioned FAT32 bootable partition from an SD card.
Please refer to this link from SDK documentation for more information - https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM64X/09_02_01_09/exports/docs/linux/Overview/Processor_SDK_Linux_create_SD_card.html

"Create SD Card" page doesn't explicitly mention support for GPT, and furthermore the "create-sdcard.sh" script (from ti-processor-sdk-linux-am64xx-evm-08.06.00.42) creates images with a MBR partition table.
Does the ROM firmware of AM6442 support booting from a GPT partition?

Thanks. I ended up using hybrid GPT partition table. Boot partition only in MBR and all partitions in GPT.
Hi Joonas,
Thanks for getting back here.
Your approach sounds very interesting. I will once give it a try and see how it all works out.
I will close the thread considering the issue is resolved.
