SK-AM62: TEST AUTOMATION HEADER INTERFACE - Model 4922

Part Number: LP-AM243TMDS64EVMTMDS243EVMSK-AM64B
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SK-AM62B-P1

Hello Everyone,

If anyone is interested, MCCI now offers a small Arduino-based controller that connects directly to the standard test automation header on TI development boards like the

  • SK-AM64B (supporting the starter kit for AM64x processors)
  • TMDS64EVM (supporting the evaluation module for AM64x processors)
  • LP-AM243 (supporting the AM243x general-purpose Launch pad development kit)
  • TMDS243EVM (supporting the evaluation module for AM243x processors )

This allows full remote control of the boot features of the board, so you can do automatic and remote regression tests of boot features without physical access to the DIP switches.

See the below link for more information.

Thank you!  Let us know for any custom variant, we will be happy to assist TI customers.

  • Hello Velamurugan

Thank you for sharing this information with TI community and customers. We are happy to promote this as needed.

The product page mentions AM62 too, but you do not list supported EVMs for that. Is that in works?

    Regards

    Mukul

  • Hello Mukul,

Thank you for your comment and inquiry.

Adding support for the AM62 is certainly feasible. We can integrate support for any boards equipped with TI standardized Test automation header.

Please let us know your interest and which EVM board you prefer to have support for.

    Best Regards,

    Velmurugan S

  • Hello Velmurugan

Your product page has the following

The MCCI Model 4922 Test Controller Kit is a computer-controlled programmable test adapter that allows fully hands-off control of Texas Instruments evaluation modules ("EVMs") for the Sitara AM243x, AM64xx, and AM62xx chips.

For AM62, we recommend SK-AM62B-P1 EVM , let us know how we can enable you to add support. Do note that AM62 is Linux centric and we do not have an RTOS offering on A53 yet.

  • Hello Mukul,

Yes, It supports the AM62 series.
SK-AM62B-P1 EVM is not much different. It is simple to add support for that EVM board.

We ordered an EVM board and working on it. We will get in touch with you.

    Thank you!

    Best Regards,

    Velmurugan S
