Web interface for embedded Linux



It is possible to manage Linux system not only with shell/console/telnet but also with web interface. The most well known and lightweight web interface for embedded systems is  Webif² aka X-Wrt. Original X-Wrt works with OpenWRT.org You can read about it here: x-wrt.org en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-Wrt .

Here you can find ready to use root filesystem with standalone demo of X-Wrt precompiled for ARM processor. The demo is tested on DM365. To run demo unpack provided file to new directory. Boot device wih NFS root on this directory and open IP address of the device in a web browser on a PC.
