Logger design for c6747 Device

Hi,

I am looking for two Logging options

1. c6747 DSP -- IPC -- Host Processor

Whenever I use LOG_printf() or similar functions, how can these messages be tapped for the host processor? Any insight into such a design?

2. c6747 DSP -- Ethernet -- UDP logger running on a desktop or any host processor.

Can I design a UDP logging mechanism where a host/any desktop UDP logger can tap all the logs from the target platform.

Any suggestions on how to proceed on these two logging options?

Unfortunately, we don't have a ready-made solution to your problem. We are working on and off on a more open solution to enable what you are after, but there's no official plan or schedule for when this will be available on the 6747 or 6748.

Can you suggest on which processor is this available (Is it available on c6424?). Why is it dependent on a processor?

What is the best way to start working on developing logging scheme?
