OMAP-L138 SPEC

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L138

Hello,

Our customer, Keyence, needs correct information about the OMAP-L138(uPP function).

Q1:According to the Wiki, http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Introduction_to_uPP

         Throughput Estimates:

2ch,1Way,16bit(*)  =  200MB/sec/Theoretical, 160MB/sec/Realistic

Note: The uPP peripheral supports a maximum clock of 50 MHz in the configuration marked with (*).

Is this correct information ?

( According to the data-sheet, a max clock speed is 75MHz. Is it wrong data in this case ? )

Q2: In case of the Realistic, what has obstructed the throughput speed ?

Keyence needs the 1600Mbps /minimum. (for received data/2ch,1Way,16bit).

The customer needs the 75-MHz SPEED or the 1600Mbps guarantee..

So, could you please tell me the answer ASAP ?

Thanks and regards,

Yasuhiko Akaishi/PIC Japan.
