TDA4AEN-Q1: J722s SDK support three capture instances

   We have two groups of four cameras connecting to capture instance 0 and 1 

   One group of only one cameras connecting to capture instance 2.

Are these cameras of same type? if they are not, then i would recommend creating separate capture node instance for each camera type.

    They are possible cameras of different types.

    As I tested ,  when  the third capture instance, instance 2  was used , app will crush , and errors are showed in above screenshot. 
    So , I posted this to doubt  whether fundomental drivers in j722s sdk correctly support the third capture instance individually or meanwhile.

As of now, there is no plan to validate third CSIRX instance. This is because VPAC instance is single, so we may not be able to process all cameras from three CSIRX instance.

  I will try to validate the third csirx instance while keeping the first two instance closed (not initialized) . 

  Because in our project , we may use just one csirx instance at the same time , so my plan is trying  to explore switching the instance resource between the three instances .  Is that practical ?

Hi Stream,

But what all resources are you going to switch between instances? From CSIRX perspective, most of the resources are specific to CSIRX instance.. So does not need to be switched..
